Dear Harriet and Family ...
Our hearts were deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of our dear friend and brother in Christ, Darryl in a tragic farm accident. Although we have been separated by years and miles, both Trudy and I held Darryl and you Harriet in our hearts with great Chrisitan affection. As a young Pastor at Delia Christian Fellowship, Darryl was a deep encouragement to me in so many ways. His love for Christ, his servant's heart, sense of humor, devotion to the church, caring for others was evident to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
While we do not grieve as those who have no hope (1Thess 4.13-18), we do grieve. It hurts, and we mourn with you.
Both Trudy and I extend our deepest sympathies and hold you and your precious family before the throne of grace.

Harriet and Family, Very sorry for your loss on Darryl’s passing. One of the best parts of knowing Darryl was, he was always more interested in the other guy than himself! When I would see him in town, he would always joke around, saying Hey what are you doin driving my car? We are so thankful for Darryl's many years of service to Men for Missions Canada.
Darryl served faithfully on the MFM Cabinet both as a member and as Cabinet President (1982/83). He also served often on short-term mission trips. His most recent trip was to Haiti in January 2019.
Both Darryl and Harriet have been lifelong financial supporters and prayer partners of Men For Missions and One Mission Society Canada.
Darryl will be greatly missed, by his MFM family.
