My condolences to the Berke family. There are memories that one holds from their home town. One of my memories is attending church services with my mother and Mr & Mrs. Berke and members of her family were always also in attendance. As the years went by and I made infrequent returns to the home town, I would accompany my mother to church services and Mrs. Berke would be there. May her memory be a blessing.

To the Berke family,
We are sorry to hear of your mothers passing This time so close to Christmas I can still easily see your family and mine trundling off to midnight mass on Christmas eve and then your father getting up to read scriptures. The last time I saw your mother I was with my mother and we stopped to chat on the street. I asked her some question about gardening and quite quickly found out she was not much into gardening. We all had a good laugh.
The Stubbs family,
Bill and Barry

I am so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. She was a woman of class and a genuinely lovely person in every way. We visited now and then when I came to Hanna and remained in contact with cards and letters over the past four decades. She was a person that truly loved and valued her family and friends.
She will be missed by all who knew her.

So many memories of our days at St. Georges together. One time, I was teasing her about being my date to a social at the church.. I promised her I would have her home early. She looked at me and said "In that case I'm not going with you"

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing: Frank, Craig, Maurine, and Bill! Your mother, as much as I knew her, was a very nice lady and was always nice to me, even though Bob and I caused your parents a lot of grief. She went through a lot of turbulence late in her life and I'm sure the Lord will have mercy on such a sweet person @ the Ressurection! May you find encouragement in each others' company. DHK
P.S. Sorry, if I misspelled any one's name!

We never met Sheila but we know dear friends, how hard it is to lose a loved one. May she find peace and may you and your family find that the sorrows of ‘now’ eventually become comforting memories that bring smiles to your faces and stories of the past that you enjoy all over again. Many hugs from Suzanne Marshall & Allan Yanitski,

I have many fond memories of our visits to Hanna. Aunt Shelia always had a smile and hug to greet us. It was certainly a house full adding our 7, and yet she made it look easy. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May your many years of memories wrap you in peace, comfort and strength in this sad time. Our thoughts and sincere condolences to the Berke family.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a great lady. Our mother thought very highly of her and enjoyed her as a neighbor. She was always sharing some crazy story about the two of them and the laughs they had.
