Obituary of Ellen Rae Crowle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Rae Crowle, at the age of 80, at the Hanna Long Term Care.

Ellen will be dearly missed by her children: Maxwell (Kim) Crowle of Camrose, AB, Debbie (Doug) Papp of Chestermere, AB, and James Crowle of High River, AB; 5 grandchildren: Shawn (Amanda) Crowle, Natasha (Jeff) Badry, Joel Crowle, Stacey (Scott) Allen, Carley (Rob) Papp; and 9 great grandchildren: Christian, Conner, Haileigh, Tyeler, Brooklyn, Allie, Molly and Asher. Ellen is also survived by her brother Dale Harder and his family, as well as many surviving family members from the Crowle family. 

Ellen was predeceased by Jim, her husband of over 60 years, in December 2019. 

Ellen was an outgoing, caring and community focused woman who was always happiest being surrounded by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her. 

Unfortunately with the restrictions due to Covid-19, we will be unable to hold a funeral at this time but hope to have a luncheon once restrictions are lifted to celebrate her life.

For all of those who knew her, you know how much she loved being in her flower shop, creating arrangements and visiting with everyone who stopped by. In lieu of sending flowers to the family, we request you buy yourselves a beautiful bouquet of flowers to honour Ellen.
