My sweet bestie Deb and your extended family. Your Dad/Papa was incredible man - he was always kind, generous and refreshingly funny with a joke or two. He will be missed by everyone, who has had the pleasure of his presence! Sending you and everyone in your family a very heartfelt hug and lots of love during this sad time. Love you all!

Uncle Jimmy was always so much fun to be around and their was always something to learn from him. His quiet demeanor and yet fun loving as heck. He could tell a story like no other. Sitting around the fire at my Dad,s cottage or in Sundrie or spending time in Mexico are all cherished memories. Uncle Jim you will be missed at any and all family gatherings. Love you very much Keith and Darlene

We have such fond memories of Jim and Shirley. Their generosity was unmatched.... they even lent us their trailer numerous times when we couldn't afford to take our family on a holiday. You were always welcome in their home no matter what day or time. Jim had a wonderful, dry sense of humor, would do anything for you and was always ready to play cards (win at cards!!) or just sit and chat. Such a strong, patient, and tender man. It saddens our heart to know we will not see him again on earth but know he lives on in his family.

I am so so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I love Jim and Shirley very much. They are like my dearest grandparents/parents in this second hometown Calgary. I will never forget all the caring, advice and love I received from them. They taught me to take one step at a time, always follow my heart, and it’s okay to ask for God’s help when needed, and God is always here for us. He is finally reunited with Shirley. I miss you both very much but I try not to cry, because you are in a better place now. Love as always.

We would like to offer our condolences to the whole family. Jim and Shirley made our summers in Sundre a real delight with our visits and the great shared stories of life in Griffentown when we were all younger. We will miss Jim dearly and our prayers are with him and your family at this time.

I have mixed emotions about Jim’s passing as he was a very good friend of mine and I am heartbroken about his passing, but I am glad he is no longer in pain and has gone to be with Shirley and Kenny in the hereafter. God bless all his family for the care they gave Jim in his final days. I know he is happy that he spent his last moments with his loving family.

To the entire Galley family,,,so sorry to hear of your loss. Jim and Shirley were both so giving of their time to everyone in Two Mountains and I'm sure the same in Calgary. I bumped into them several times in Calgary. Jim was always the same easy going and caring man. I enjoyed talking to him and Shirley.

I'm sure your hearts are very heavy with grief right now which is so understandable. You dad was for sure one of a kind. We only have wonderful memories of both your parents. I was just saying to Keith how they were a couple who you could just drop in on and they were thrilled with it. Of course our highlight memory was our rafting trip that went sideways. It was so funny in many ways. And then when we vacationed in Mazatlan together. Riding together in the back of the little red pick-up truck was so fun. Yes, very good memories. I'm sure both Jim and Shirley would want us to smile and laugh when we think about them. It won't be very long before we will all be together again exploring the Heavenlies with Jesus physically at our side. Love and prayers for you all.

Tina, Adrian and your extended family - We are so sorry to hear about your Dad’s and Mom’s passing. We are sorry we didn’t know about the loss of your Mom. We did not have the opportunity in 2020 to catch up at Christmas as we normally did. I know they both were a big part of your life. I hope your Dad did not suffer a lot. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
