I enjoyed reading "Mrs. Shacker's (as we all knew her) life story. She was well known and loved by all who lived in Hanna during her time. As her story states, she was always dressed to perfection and I particularly remember her sitting in the ticket box at her old Capital Theatre taking admissions. She knew every kid in town and we would all be there on Saturday afternoon for the matinee. Once the movie started if you were too rambunctious in the audience, she would come down and escort you back to the lobby for a time out - all with a mother's touch though.
She is well remembered by all old Hanna residents.

Margaret was a classy lady. I enjoyed running into her in the neighbourhood. She was always dressed to the nines and always busy. Her St Patrick’s day celebrations with the green beer were legendary. I am so glad to have known her. A life well lived. Condolences to her grand daughter and family.
Mrs Shaker..was our families neighbor for most of my early life..I still talk about how blessed and fortunate we were growing up on Hanna, with aovie theater and a drive-in theater...thank you Margret.....William Berke
