My sincere condolences to Charlene’s family and the many people who were lucky enough to know her and will miss her so much. Charlene and I were connected through Big Brothers Big Sisters and it was obvious from the first time we met that she was pretty special. Her energy and generosity were gifts she shared with everyone who came into her circle and the loss of her bright light will leave an enormous hole.

Sorry for your loss,
I just found out about Char’s death, and I had the privilege of working with her for a summer at The Saskatoon Farm south of Calgary. As she studied horticulture a few years ahead of me at Olds College, she was a great mentor as I was just beginning my career.
God Bless you,
Jared

To all the family,
We are sharing in your sadness of your loss. Charlene was a wonderful person, who willingly shared her love of life and adventures to all that were fortunate to know her. From her young age as a teenager she was caring, confident and responsible and these attributes, along with a loving supportive family, were the building blocks for Charlene to venture out on her own, challenging herself to always do her best in whatever her passion was. And in return, others are blessed with being a part of her world. Her memory will always be with us.

I had the luck of going to Olds College with Char. She introduced me to hockey hiding her laughter marginally when I asked he when half time would be. We became fast friends and found fun and sometimes trouble everywhere we went! She was the casserole queen and made it her mission to make sure we all ate at least 1 casserole a day! She was one of my first visitors when my daughter came and she brought casseroles! Char was always a force and made everyone's life better for knowing her! I will miss you Char! Sending Love to her family Jo I will miss the updates on Chance and Colby. Just last week she told me about what truly kind men they are becoming. She is so proud of them!

Charlene was that person you could talk to anytime we met up. My condolences to her parents, her sister, those two special nephews, her Grandma, Grant. She would always be happy to share her family stories.
She left to early in her life. Grant she was so happy these last years, since you came into her life.
I loved when Grant and Charlene came to my home to pick apples in my backyard. Then she always shared her homemade pickles. Delicious!
I loved carry on our friendship on Facebook and messenger, when she moved back home.
So sad I’ve lost a friend! RIP CHARLENE.
