Obituary of Donald Jay Muirhead

Donald Jay Muirhead 1934 ~ 2017 Donald “Don” Muirhead passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017, at the age of 83 years. Don was born in Hanna, AB, to John & Ethel Muirhead on March 5, 1934. Don grew up on the Scotfield farm, and attended school in Scotfield and Youngstown. He worked on the Special Areas Road Crew from 1962 to 1993. During his retirement years, he enjoyed exploring the local countryside with his metal detector, and working in his vegetable garden. Don was predeceased by his parents and his brother Murray. Don is survived by his sisters Irene (Ron) Fraser of Calgary, and Noreen (Redford) Peeples of Stettler; sister-in-law Joye McMillin of Calgary, and numerous nieces and nephews.
