Obituary of Darlene Hopland

Darlene Pansy Hopland passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023 in Hanna, Alberta at the Long-Term Care Facility at the age of 86.

Darlene was born in Lethbridge, Alberta to John and Ethel Fuller. Darlene worked for Alpha Dairy as a secretary in Lethbridge then eventually transferred to work for Alpha Dairy in Calgary. During this time, she met her husband, Ray. They bought a house in Lakeview, as well as a cabin in beautiful Kananaskis, before starting their family of three children. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ray, and her brother Bob.

Darlene is survived by her children Brad (Kim), Cheryl (Chris), and Kerry (Andrew); her seven, wonderful grandchildren: Danielle, Shelby, Christopher, Jason, Hailey, Danielle, and Jasper, and one great grandchild, Dominic; her brother Ken; her niece and many nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Reflecting her wishes, there will be an open house at a later date.
