I was just talking to my father-in-law George Unsworth. He was very sorry to hear of Doreen's passing. She was a wonderful friend for so many years -- since they were children. Their families lived in the same area and had many good times together. George was sorry that he could not be at the service but he was thinking of all of you. Doreen use to phone our dad (Viv Howery) all the time and let him know what was happening around Hanna. He always enjoyed the call and then would pass the news to us.
