Obituary of Donald Wayne Rude

Donald Wayne Rude, beloved husband of Kathy Rude, passed away on Friday June 16, 2023, at the age of 72.

Wayne was born July 23, 1950, in Camrose, Alberta to Donald and Vera Rude. He was raised on the family farm at Sedalia, attending school in Sedalia, New Brigden and Cereal.

Wayne made his home in Cereal, Alberta, where he worked for Special Areas operating equipment. He then moved on as a consultant in the oil and gas industry. Wayne was widely known and respected in the industry for all his achievements.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife Kathy of 53 years; son Don (Kim), daughter Jody (David) and two grandsons Brandon and Tyler. He will also be missed by his siblings: Brian (Kelly Ann), Steve (Sandra), Karen, Jan (Roger); sisters-in-law: Sally, Joan, Ruth (Dean); brother-in-law Doug; and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Wayne’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
