Obituary of Harold Unsworth

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Unsworth, our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Harold passed from this life in Hanna, with his family by his side. The same town where he was born, 95 years ago.

Harold contributed to the community as a teacher, principal and a good neighbor.

He was predeceased by his father Robert, mother Frances; brothers: Robert, John, George, Louis, Roy, Frankie; his son-in-law Tim Allen and sister-in-law Sharon Salyha.

His legacy will be remembered, respected, loved and missed by his wife of 67 years, Shirley; sons; Michael, David (Dee) and daughter Joanne (John); grandchildren: Jason Unsworth (Andrea and children: Connor, Sam and Heather), Richelle (Allen) and Andrew Redekop, Alexandria Unsworth (Matthew, and children: Ryker and Ridley), Lisa (Allen) and Christian Gordon, Erinn Unsworth (Dominic); brothers: Albert (Muriel) Unsworth, Cyril Unsworth and sister-in-law Bev O’Neill.

Harold will be interred at Netherby Cemetery. A private service will be held.
