Obituary of Guy Victor Villebrun

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Victor Villebrun of Hanna, AB, on Friday March 15, 2024, at the Hanna Hospital at the age of 66 years.

Guy was born on August 13, 1957, in Shilo Manitoba to parents Joseph and Mary Villebrun.

Guy met the love of his life, Elaine Johnston, in the winter of 1999 and they were married on September 21, 2007.

His thirst for knowledge and Degrees in Criminology and Psychology led to his career as a Health and Safety Specialist. Guy had a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge and carried this with him throughout his life. In his leisure time he enjoyed building model trains and model clocks. However, Guy was most passionate about astronomy and his love for motorbikes. He enjoyed sharing these hobbies with his wife Elaine.

Guy will be deeply missed by his wife of 17 years, Elaine Johnston; stepdaughters: Annette (Bill) and Angela (Jim); grandchildren: Darion, Alexis, Josh, and Kyle; brother Dennis (Cheryl); sisters: Paulette, Monique (Gary), Michelle and numerous nieces and nephews with Lindsey having a special place in his heart.

Guy was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary, and his son-in-law Dave.

A Celebration of Guy’s Life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Hanna Lions Hall (201 1 Ave East, Hanna).
