Greg was such a character! I met him at a GeoAlberta Conference many many years ago... we met each year and he would hang with all of us and he was always so much fun! When he retired he and I stayed in touch! I always had a soft spot for him and we would do zoom mtgs through covid.... and continued them until his passing. I will always remember and miss his terrible puns and dad jokes he would send me and his extremely engaging and intelligent conversations. He was always soo fond of his neice too... seemed like he was always trying to go to her plays and be there to celebrate the big events with her!! Wherever you are Greg I know you will be keeping everyone on thier toes!!

Truly saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. I had the good fortune of being introduced to Greg through our friends John and Carol Lodge. I found Greg to have a unique philosophy on life as well as a terrific dry sense of humour. He possessed the ability to hold court with Kings as well as the average layman which made him so likeable to so many. While I mourn his passing I also celebrate my good fortune in knowing him, which I will treasure forever. The world has lost a good man, but the other side has gained a great soul!

I am very saddened to hear of Greg's passing. Greg was wonderful to know and a good friend to my husband and I through the years. Always there with his particular type of humor to give us a smile. Then there was that delightful laugh that would shake his whole body. When we moved to Texas we had hoped he would visit. Since John has passed away Greg has been very kind keeping in touch. I will miss that. To all of you my deepest condolences. He will be forever in our minds and hearts. Carol
