I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the past few years saying hello to Fred when I visited my mother at long-term. He had such a sweet and gentle smile.
I was fortunate to visit with Fred for the past 3 years during my visits to LTC. We easily talked horses and farming and he loved the videos and pictures I showed him of my grandchildren riding their ponies, doing wild pony races and the milestones the babies reached. Even better when I would stop to chat with the kids in tow. Fred was great with children!! My husband was fortunate to know Fred a lot longer as they drove wagons together and traded horses. Both of our lives were richer from having met Fred.

My deepest condolence to Fred's family. He and I were almost twins being only two weeks apart in age. I will miss him greatly .
