We were so sorry to hear of Eva's passing.
We first met Eva when we came to Hanna and moved into her Mom's rental house a block from where they lived. Down the street she came with a big welcoming smile on her face to say Hi and introduce herself to the new family on the block.
Eva and my sister, Sue, were kindred souls in their love of animals and especially for those without a permanent home. From the time she was young, I can remember my sister "dragging stray dogs and cats home" as well. They became friends and had many crazy adventures together. I know that Eva had a special love of horses but that is one adventure that she was not able to get Sue to share with her. She couldn't get Sue to ride.
Although Sue moved from Hanna long ago, she always remembered Eva and inquired about her often. I know that Eva holds a special place in her heart and her memories.
