Obituary for Richard John Fair

1944 ~ 2019

Rick Fair of Delia, Alberta, passed away on April 1, 2019 at the age of 75 in the Hanna Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife of 50 years, Eleanor Fair, children: Corbin (Catharine) Fair, Andrea (George) Parnall, grandsons: Eric and Colin Fair and Logan and Grayson Parnall, and finally his early morning coffee and burnt toast at Luke’s Café.

 He is also survived by his brother Ken (Susan) Fair, sisters-in-law Vivian (Bud) Walker and Eileen (Gary) Wood and brothers-in-law Don (Connie) Hauser and Gord (Barb) Hauser, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Rick was predeceased by his father, James Fair, and mother, Ine (Fair) Vesey, step-father Ralph Vesey, mother and father in-law, Dorothy and Clayton Parker.

Thank you for all the care that Rick received during his stays at the Hanna and Drumheller Hospitals.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2019 at 2pm in the Delia Community Hall with Rev. Heather Carlson officiating.

 Donations in memory of Rick may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
