Hi Family,
I’m so sadden to just find out now about your beautiful moms passing.. In 1996 we became roommates at the foothills hospital, since then she always kept in touch. She remembered our Anniversary & birthdays. That month was pure hell for both of us, your mom was so kind, respectful, compassionate lady, pure class. I remember when & who gave her a lumbar puncture in her bed in a quad unit FMC he still there and as rude as ever, she’s like “it’s ok Wanda” I’m like no it’s not, but she said nothing. I remember talking to Irene about eating again, neither of us really had a resolution to issues . But I would call her and say, my brain told me to eat carrots, so I ate a bag of raw carrots, she said I’ve started w eating raw potatoes, & gradually we began to eat again. Irene remained a life long friend, who loved to brag about her grand babies, her kids, who were advocates for me during extremely painful time at the FMC unit 61 .. Thank You for being there for me.
Sending my love to you all, I’m sorry I didn’t see this sooner due to health.
I know she is watching over you all. God Bless
Love Wanda Steeves

Sincerest sympathy to the very Dear Family of Irene. " Her Journey Has Just Begun...Don't think of Her as gone away, Her journey has just begun. Life holds so many facets...this earth is only one. Just think of Her as resting, from the sorrows and the tears...in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years. Think how She must be wishing, that we could know today...how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of Her as living, in the hearts of those She touched...For nothing loved is EVER lost...and She was loved so much." Love and hugs to All, Ron Lowther, Janet Donald-Lowther and Patrick Schultz, Kyle[Brenda] Schultz, and All of Our Families.
