Obituary of Rolland (Rolly) Marvin Haugen

Rolland Marvin Haugen passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023, at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital in Castor, Alberta at the age of 76 years. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 16, 1947, to parents Glenn and Pearl Haugen.

Rolly is survived and will be missed by his daughters: Sherri-Ann and Lucy and grandchildren; sister Gayle of Castor, brothers: Lloyd of Calgary and Gilbert of Hanna; nieces: Jolene (Elvie) of Lethbridge, and Lynn (Jay) of Hanna; grandnephew Acadian, grandnieces Kaylee and Kalli; many special cousins and Aunt Ruth Signer.

He was predeceased by his parents Pearl and Glenn, and sister-in-law Evelyn Haugen.

Rolly loved working with people and helping others. His greatest passion was working as an EMT. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday October 13, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Castor Community Hall, followed by a luncheon. Interment will take place at the Youngstown Cemetery at 4:00 p.m.
